This poetic book is a perfect read for middle school students. It is not only beautiful to read and/or listen to, but the story will keep students and adults wanting to read more. As someone who is not a lover of basketball, I wasn't sure what to expect out of this book. What I found is that this book is not just about basketball, but about family, making decisions, loss, and growing up.
